Winter Tires Installed Bring On The Snow!

written by John Chow upon December 10th, 2009

Normally, we dont brother installing winter tires upon my cars because we used to live in Richmond, which is flat as a pancake. Generally, all season tires will do just fine if we dont expostulate much as good as stick to a main roads. Now which we live 300 meters above sea turn upon a heavily sloped mountainside in a Properties of West Vancouver, we had to give in as good as put 4 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 upon a not long ago purchased Acura MDX. we purchased a MDX because we knew West Van gets a lot sleet during a winter months as good as all wheel expostulate would be a huge advantage. However, Sarah insisted upon installing winter tires as well.

Replacing a award winning Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3, a DM-V1 features Bridgestones exclusive Nano-Pro-Tech rubber compound as good as Multicell technology to disperse surface H2O as good as improve grip. A directional tread pattern as good as 3-D sipes raise dry opening as good as successive lug pattern as good as Center Multi-Z tread grooves in a DM-V1 increase traction in a sleet as good as ice.

The brand new Blizzak has been upon for only a single day but Im really impressed with a ride as good as handling. The tires are a bit louder than a all seasons which came with a MDX as good as a ride is a bit hasher, but overall, its extraordinary as good as we would swear they were batch all seasons if we didnt tell you. Im sure theyll prove their worth when a sleet falls this weekend. Heres a video of a aged Blizzak DM-Z3 upon an AWD 300C.

Heres a video comparing winter tires to all seasons as good as summer tires. Sarah pronounced its a good thing we got a brand new winter tires commissioned because our drive is 5 times longer as good as steeper than a drive in a video.
